Privacy & Data Handling
This notice explains what the desktop app stores locally, what the website may receive, and what users should protect.
Effective date: June 26, 2026
Desktop App Data
SaaS Security Review Portal is a local desktop app. Review records, admin settings, audit events, questionnaire tracking, uploaded evidence copies, exports, and local backups are stored on the user's workstation or in the data folder selected inside the app.
No Hosted Portal Account
The desktop app does not require a hosted account with RequestPath Security for version 1.0.0. The app is designed to run locally and does not provide centralized cloud storage, hosted user accounts, remote administration, or multi-user access control.
Website and Support Contact
If you send an email, use the contact form to prepare an email, or contact support, the information you choose to send may include your name, organization, email address, phone number, request details, and any details included in your message.
Sensitive Records
Review records, questionnaires, exported PDFs, JSON backups, and evidence documents may contain sensitive business, security, procurement, privacy, or compliance information. Protect these files according to your organization's requirements.
CUI, CDI, Secrets, and Regulated Data
Do not store CUI, CDI, export-controlled data, credentials, secrets, protected personal information, or other regulated data in the app unless your organization has approved the app, data folder, workstation, backup process, and access controls for that use.
Local Security Controls
Users are responsible for endpoint protection, account access, disk encryption, backups, file permissions, approved storage locations, and secure handling of evidence and exports. The local audit log helps with accountability but is not tamper-proof.
No Broad Security Promise
RequestPath Security does not claim that local storage, exported files, evidence copies, or user-selected folders are secure against every threat. Security depends on the workstation, Windows profile, storage location, user behavior, and organizational controls.
